Are you prepared for the cost? For outdoor use you probably want one of th= e larger LED packages, like T1-3/4. Have you looked up how much a whole reel= s of those cost? How distributed do these need to be? Do you expect to control each LED individually? Are the LEDs going to be arranged mostly in grids, or each placed independently of others? Have you even thought about the power requirements and distribution? At roughly 20mA x 2.2V =3D 44mW per LED, x 4000 =3D 176W, and that's just to t= he LEDs without any loss or overhead.
