My experience with abrading aluminium is that it quite quickly
gums up whatever space there is between grit. Faster doesn't
help, just makes the aluminium even more malleable. I suppose
if the abrasive disk is wearing down and taking the aluminium
with it that wouldn't be so bad. Bit messy around electronics
though but if the case is apart then the insides can be cleaned
