Yes. I'm using the PICKIT2 control program, and I've got "PIC18F_J_"=20
selected as the device type.

FYI: the PIC is on page 3 of the circuit diagram; the ICSP connector is=20

I'm seeing the PK2 pull MCLR low, then raise it for about 520us, then=20
low for 1.04ms, then high for the remainder. So MCLR is doing=20
*something* at least.

Probing the VCORE capacitor with my scope probe gets me a stable reading=20
of about 2.56V. Vcc is 3.28V. No oscillation on the xtal (nor would I=20
expect any on a blank PIC), but the rest of the hardware is alive.
