Hello all Kiwi persons :), I've just purchased a book and DVD off of Amazon UK as a present for=20 someone in NZ, and it's just suddenly struck me that I don't know what NZ's= =20 rules are on GST with lowish value goods (AU$ 53.00 inc postage). Here in Ozland an individual has huge allowance of AU$ 1K in any one order= =20 per year, in the UK it's a paltry GBP 18.00 before the Vatman comes a=20 knocking or more accurately the Post Office refuses to deliver until paid=20 (I wonder how I know :( ). So am I landing my friend with an unexpected extra birthday present? Yes I know the DVD is UK encoded, that'll be their problem to sort out. It= =20 is also exempted in the UK from classification, of course that might not be= =20 so in the land of the great brown possum throwers. :) Colin -- cdb, on 23/09/2010 --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
