There is a third alternative, we can put up a 'Use at your own risk'=20
warning for all people who sign up.... something along the lines of:=20
"This is a forum of 2000+ people. If at any point one of those users=20
feels your contributions are not of suitable quality, or that your=20
questions are stupid, ill-considered, poorly punctuated, misspelled, or=20
otherwise deficient, you are likely to be called names, shamed, and=20
generally abused. This happens regularly. use at own risk."

At least that way people will know what to expect. Maybe this should be=20
tacked on as the default signature of the mailman.

It would also be a realistic, honest representation of what this list is=20
all (can be) about.
