You can get a silver loaded paint which will often/sometimes repair
this sort of connection. I've had variable results with this but it
may be more lack of knack than product problem.
The material I have used tends to not conduct well until the bearer
liquid evaporates and the silver particles clump together.

This material may not work well AT the connector and is probably best
not flexed after repair. AFAIR RS sold some at one stage. There will
be cheaper sources.
