Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience in using DSPIC FD ( ie
filter designer)  software. Does it work well? I want to design an 8 channe=
l
audio bandpass filter ie. 8 passbands across the range of 40 to 16 KHz .
I have never used a DSPIC or a DSP for that matter. I guess I would need
4 DSPICs with stereo DACS , perhaps  these dsPIC33FJ64GP802. Will I be
able to have 2 filters running simultaneously in each DSP. Sorry I am a
newbie at this though I have been using PICs for years I have never done
any DSP type work. I could do these filters strictly analog but I like
the idea of being able to change the filter characteristics in software.
Thanks for any thoughts or pointing me in the right direction.
