Every time I've had something fail like this, I've plugged it in too=20 early. My recommendation.... Like others. Take the keyboard completely apart.... Wash thouroughly. I just use tapwater, but I'm also in a very=20 soft-water area. Let dry way longer than you would think... perhaps a week.
