My only experience with PPS is with a PIC24, but I guess this is
similar. One thing to check out, are you doing a PPS setup somewhere
else, and locking that one in that bit of code? Is the config bits set
up to only allow one unlock/lock sequence?

I haven't tried to work my way through your code to see if this is what
you have done, but it may stop you doing another unlock.
