Probably your 720 came with > the high-voltage probes because it was intended for motor controller > development. Is it the 'P' version? No, mine is an original THS720 that I bought when they first came out. I bought a safety probe separately. I only bought one to use on the high side.=20 I've used my scope with one probe's ground at 0 V and the other probe's ground attached to positive 200 VDC supply rail, and a computer attached to the serial port, no problems. I've also had it strapped to my thigh while riding an electric bicycle. Battery powered scopes are awesome. Here's a link to the GUI I wrote for getting screengrabs from the scope: http://bobblick.com/techref/projects/ths720/ths720.zip Cheerful regards, Bob --=20 http://www.fastmail.fm - Access all of your messages and folders wherever you are --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
