Good suggestions (Olin's suggestions often are). To that also add - which processor, what language (C, assembler, ...?). What "tools" do you have? Welcome to the list. The more we know about you the better we can fit our answers and input to your needs. >> Someone here know where i can find some sample code with the >> autobauding function enabled? > > Yes, most likely someone does. =A0Why do you care? Allow me to translate for you :-) This is common 'English as a first language' every-day idiom for "If anyone knows where I can locate some sample code ... I'd be greatly obliged if they would tell me where I can find such." Alternatively (more informal) "Someone here know" Can be closely rendered "Anyone who knows please do tell me" Speakers / readers even somewhat skilled in the art of English usage will understand this meaning as of right. Those not so skilled will pick it up in time :-). > If I wanted to actually find such code, I'd start poking around the > Microchip app notes. =A0However, if I wanted to implement autobaud I'd re= ad > the datasheet and write the code, and stay far away from Microchip sample > code. Tends to be better advice than it should be alas. Microchip sample code often gives a good introduction to any given subject but tends to be somewhat more rushed or buggy than it ideally should be in some cases. Generally, if you find a sample of code in a Microchip app note you will be able to find advice on this list from people who have already looked at it.
