C18 is IMHO one of the worst C implementations I have ever seen in terms=20
of code density and quality of the PIC libraries provided with it.

Yet I have used it with success for a few projects. When you use only=20
10% of a chips capacity the code quality is not much of an issue, and I=20
mostly use my own libraries anyway.
