Have you tried it? I did, and gave up. Microchip very definitely wants you to program PIC32 in C. They provide absolutely ZERO documentation or support for assembly-language programming. They only provide a link to the MIPS website, which of course, only contain= s generic information about the architecture, and nothing at all about development tools or the specific PIC32 implementation(s).
