This device or something similar could nicely complement Bob's
Paradigm Shift Awareness detectors.
They and Bob seem to have much the same philosophical approach to such
devices, fortunately.

Note that they are driven by nuclear decay, allowing ESPers the easier
task of nuclear decay manipulation. compared to the altering of
parameters in deterministic software based pseudo random generators.
(Achieving similar results by ESP inducing protection diode leakage
currents is not considered fair game).

Shielding between the Paradigm Shift Awareness detector and ESPer or
PSA and/or the random decay unit may be a good idea. It's not certain
that mu-metal is adequate for this task.
