When all else fails ...

- Swap RAM modules in PC being used to program if more than one RAM module.

- Use a different PC.

- Use different cables where-ever cables are used.
(Long ago we had an intermittent international Telex exchange
(previous lifetime) based on PDP11s that crashed in from minutes to
days with no obvious cause. Turned out to be a bus cable linking two
redundant processors. Took months to find as careful analysis of crash
patterns somehow didn't implicate this cabling).
