A 25uF (or higher) aluminum electrolytic cap on the output is
suggested by On Semi. A 1uF ceramic is probably okay too
(the ceramic part has much lower ESR, which should be better with
this kind of non-LDO part). I'd likely go with the ceramic because
it costs a fraction of a penny and takes up almost no space.
