I've read the book. sounds like it. I never knew there was a film.=20
George MacDonald was a big influence on J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.=20
He did for Fairytales & Fantasy what Conan Doyle and and Wilkie Collins=20
did for Detective Fiction or Conrad and Childers did for Spy Genre.
