Hi, I have a strong suggestion for you to look for the Sky Sailor project. http://www.sky-sailor.ethz.ch/ I've personally met Andr=E9 Noth, who mainly developed the project and the work is amazing (dsPIC based, by the way). Well, in the website they have the airplane models available for download and several articles on how they projected and built the IMU, how they exploited thermals and many more well documented information. They also made an autonomous continuous 27-hour solar flight more than a year before the Solar Impulse that got so much from the press in the last weeks. --=20 []s Rafael.
