Sorry, but this looks like an opinion stated as fact. If you only made your= =20 own boards once, then it seems to me you don't have enough information to=20 support a logical argument. Sure, saying something like "my experience of the matter is x" would be=20 fine, but stating conclusively that etching your own boards is *never*=20 useful is hard to take seriously. I think it appears that generally it pays to have boards made professionall= y=20 but very occasionally someone may have a situation where various factors=20 cause the etching of his/her own board to save time and/or money. Of course it would be hard to prove this without extensive research/analysi= s=20 but it seems a few people may have this feeling (that have etched more than= =20 one board), so to claim 100% one way or the other is (IMHO) just not=20 possible. > I use AP Circuits in Calgary Canada.
