While in general I agree with Olin here (just get the board =20
professionally made), I'd like to point out that the economics of =20
employing students at a university can be "strange."  Salaries may be =20
effectively zero to the employing department (ie paid for as =20
"financial aid" from some other budget), while coming up with real =20
"cash" to pay an outside service to make a PCB might be difficult.
