You may be confusing who the OP is.  Solarwind is known to be a student
someplace in Quebec if I remember right.  Etching your own boards when
you're a hobbyist or student or otherwise don't or can't value you time
highly can make sense (which I also said).  However the OP was "V G", who i=

apparently someone paid to work in a lab.
