Hi, I have tried Kicad and found it a bit hard to use, especially when building= new symbols for parts where I found it a bit inflexible and annoying. Its = appeal is great as it works on windows and Linux and importantly is free. I= am not saying it is a bad package but like everything, it will suit some b= ut not others. No doubt it will improve in the future.
