Folks,

I'm interfacing a 480x128 monochrome LCD to a PIC 18F using an LCD
controller chip (see separate question) for use as a DRO (Digital
Readout Display) on a vertical mill.  Can anyone give me
recommendations on Open Source 2D graphics libraries for generating
simple graphics (e.g., large type, simple line art and shapes)  Assume
I have enough RAM on the PIC for a single-bit deep frame buffer.
Libraries in C are probably the most useful.

Recommendations?  Comparative analysis?  Machine resources required?
Run time is probably not the critical measure.
