This free Beta software was easier to produce capable and useful results with than anything else I've seen to date. Just had a quick play so far. http://www.oloneo.com/ If you manipulate photo images on a PC, get this (free) software. High dynamic range image creation from multiple images plus lighting management of single images and more. Identifies multiple light sources in a photo and allows each to *individually* be adjusted (brightness, colour balance, more ...). Denoising, RAW processing, HDR manipulation, ... .. Extremely fast ij operation compared to other photo processing tools. Multiple image HDR allows you to create otherwise impossible images, but even the single photo level control features allow major 'improvements' to the available dynamic range in an image. Looks stunningly capable. I'll certainly be investigating it further.
