As far as I know none of the safety systems currently available > prevent this from happening, Not true.=A0 My table saw has little spring loaded grabber thingies designed not to let the wood slide backwards, for example.=A0 It's just a ordinary o= ff the shelf table saw I got from Sears 25 years ago.=A0 The wood has to get f= ar enough to catch on the grabber thingies, but they can help in a lot of cases.
