I'm afraid that I can't work out what you are trying to say - lost in translation, alas. Really. I read several times what you wrote, and it could mean a range of things - some almost the opposite to others, So, to answer or address several points that may not or may have been being made. I'm unsure of what the long hair reference meant. Security forces are usually meant to remain clean shaven BUT usually sport substantial face hair to fit in with local standards. > Anti-te**or forces would be much better to choose the most trusted > person from, in my opinion. He is a member of AT forces as that term is generally understood. The photo was taken in Kabul in Afghanistan. I understand that within minutes of the photo being taken a number of armed men who did not usually live in the area started firing on civilians and that there was a 'shootout' between Willie and said non-locals, some people died and Willie is still alive so ... . Having non-locals come and start killing civilians by shooting them in order to make a political point (all of which these people were doing) falls comfortably withing the present understanding of "organised terror" activities. Willie was there expressly to help stop people like that doing things like that, at which he succeeded. > If "te**or" is taken in a wide meaning, > then choosing the right side of the road looks really like trying to > answer the old question "to be or not to be". My parser just produces white noise on that one, alas. but eg Willie was standing by the right side of a road, or the left when looking from the other direction. Some people who would not normally to be there came and started killing the people who to be'd there. Will got involved in stopping the killing (*by* the others anyway). It seems like he was possibly on the correct side of the road at the time. The "most trusted"label was bestowed by "we the NZ people" (or they the people as nobody asked me).
