I'm on a road trip with my family across northern US, and I'm in Seattle until Friday.  Anyone I should visit, or anything I should make sure I do while I'm out here?

I have my (not yet programmed) Mom Find Me prototype (LCD, GPS, zigbee, compass, SD card) and some 7 and 14 segment serial LCDs I'm planning on selling at the upcoming Detroit Maker Faire if anyone is interested in seeing those in person.

And, as always, I'm looking for more contracts and projects, so if anyone in the area needs to get something PICish (or embeddedish) done, here's an opportunity to meet face to face.

After this week I'm heading through Idaho, South Dakota, Iowa, and back to Michigan (and will be passing through the states in-between).

My wife was driving while talking on the phone, and we were coming up to an exit we knew we needed to take.  I had told the kids to be quiet so we wouldn't miss the exit, and so she could complete her call quickly.

Hunter (8) said, "Dad?" and I responded, "Not right now, Hunter, unless it's important." and he remained silent.

Micah, (6) said, "Dad?" and I responded the same way.  After thinking for a moment he said, "It's important."  I said, "Ok, what is it?"

"I love you."
