And I want to thank you all for your answers and useful links. 
I think now I have information enough to finish my motor controller 
design.
I'd probably go with IR2010 drivers and IRFZ44 N-mosfets (that's what 
I can get in my city) plus some currents and temperature monitoring, PIC 
based.
