Currently I have an older AutoXray scanner (for some years) that apparently only outputs the basic OBDII parameters, and am planning to buy a new scanner that will provide the full set of OBDII parameters. I am primarily interested in Ford products, but would like near same functionality for other brands. Would like to be able to tweak some of the settings. At the moment I have the need to read the "BARO" and "MAF" values while troubleshooting and low power ping issue pointing to the MAP sensor, but would want functionality to get other parameters. Ability to download a history to a PC would be a plus. This would want to be a stand alone unit, since I don't have a laptop. Budget is $200 range. Is there a generic item that indicates ability to read the extended parameters? Any suggestions including things to watch out for appreciated. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
