Mike Harrison quoted Robin Moorshead on his page, www.electricstuff.co.uk/pcbs.html (how to make PCBs) on how to make your own silicate developer using water glass and sodium hydroxide crystals. Anybody know if the addition of sodium nitrate to the NaOH crystals will screw things up? When I buy NaOH from my "favorite" chemical supplier (Walmart, in the plumbing area, as a random brand of drain cleaner) it comes with some sodium nitrate. Anybody know if this "contaminant" will screw up the developer? (I'll just give it a try anyway :-) Mike -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
