Thanks again to those who have answered my recent questions about
electrical installation in the UK. We are getting ready to send some
of our field support people to England to do some equipment
installation at a warehouse in Stafford (near Birmingham). They'll
bring some tools from here, but for the heavier motorized stuff,
they'll want to buy it there. They don't need too much - mainly a
hammer drill and an air compressor to run a rivet gun. There's a
Wickes Home Improvement nearby which seems to have some hammer drills.
However, finding an air compressor is a bit tougher. Can anyone
suggest some shops in or near Stafford which would sell this type of
equipment? Some people who work for our customer have told us that it
is difficult to get this equipment locally without a "contract" with a
vendor. I find that hard to believe, especially since I was able to
just go online and find drills at Wickes.
