You may not be able to use the ham bands. I got my ticket in 1961, then there was no ONE Way transmission allowed. You had to be talking to someone. That was considered NOT amateur, but a commercial application? There might be a way around, but the purpose of amateur radio was to spur interest in radio and use talking to other amateurs in doing so?
