Relay can be arranged to only turn on if polarity is correct.

Only functional problem occurs if supply can reverse suddenly while operating.
This is unlikely to be a problem in most applications.

Contact resistance is good for a quality product in new condition.
All the normal caveats re genuine brand, connection resistance etc
apply at these current levels. Soldering in presumed.

Operation once per power on/off gives v long life.
