My experience is that you're on your own unless you buy full 6 feet lengths
at, IIRC, >$100 a piece.
You can probably find a surplus part that is sort of like what you want. You
can then get the expensive part when you're certain of your power
dissipation level and you need to build a real look-alike prototype. It
shouldn't be much of a problem because you should be designing well below
worst-case values of power dissipation.
