I did not know that Mono had progressed so far until I played with Travis Robinson's libusbdotnet. http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusbdotnet/ It is really nice that same solution file (works under VS, SharpDevelop, MonoDevelop) and the same exe file work under Linux and Windows. There are philosophical objections to Mono from some Linux users.
