Here in this part of Ohio, E-check > is every other year, and probably would be when found. Doubt it. A friend recently failed emissions, with "loose connector" as the only explanation. When I looked at it, the connector was simply pulled out of its socket, and the tech did not bother to pop it back in. Those guys have no clue. I was actually considering rigging up our sim to spoof the VIN & mess with the software, to confuse the techs.
