> OTOH, I haven't as yet received anything on the Apple topic. Thanks. A valuable data point. There have been 14 posts with this subject line but with no tag. Your seeing this suggests that you are subscribed to [OT] BUT did not see the messages. That in turn suggests that you have not ticked the "receive all posts" box (or whatever it is labelled) so that you don;t get those without tags. Which makes tagless posts very valuable - only being see by hardcore bring-it-on give-me-everything-you've-got list members. _________ > :: Hat rejoins hat pile in corner > Have you thought of diversifying into millinery? =A0The brims could be > decorated with LED's that change colour due to mood or emphasis > required. I believe Philips have some mood led panels that do this. Said hat pile is a physical reality, even though said admin hat is not, and has about 9 hats in it at present, with another few around the place. All hats bar one are mine. As I very very seldom wear hats I'm not sure why I maintain it, but it does rather match the general style of things here. One hat is genuine WW2 Australian seen-service-in-PNG diggers hat, one a Mercedes cap of the style sold in stalls everywhere but this one given to me by Mercedes Benz in Taipei (who probably got it from a local stall). The rest are less notable. A solar brimmed hat keeps threatening to happen. Closest so far was a fairy headband with light chaser LEDs that flashed and chased etc. Whole project including tinsel, LEDs headband, and PIC 16F84 (a while ago) driver took 45 minutes from start to chasing my daughter down the path with it as she left for the related party. A great success when dancing in low light reportedly. My shortest time to complete a project ever :-). Coded in BASIC (!) and probably around 20-30 lines of code total.
