Thanks for the info. If I were still there I would definitely interested to go. With my radio scanner I could not pick up any amateur there -- OK, I had not got a good antenna, but I thought at least I could listen few HAMs but I was wrong. I could only listen to the air traffic and the Garda (police) -- that was fun sometimes :-) Anyway, I know there are many embedded development in Limerick for some reason, and of course in Dublin -- but even then I felt a bit alone. Had to order most of the stuff from the UK. Only Maplin was a shop where I could go in actually and see the tool or component in my hand before buying them. But then they were far more expensive to buy everything from them. RS was fast and reliable but also expensive (not as much as Maplin though) -- usually next day delivery or the day after.
