We have an annual calibration program. The details of the contract I am not privy to. I am very interested to know how they can return a device, veryify that it has been calibrated but the device has clearly not been working for some time. The actual device in this case was a Fluke Meter to Thermocouple adapter. The device was returned with a cal sticker covering the only screw. However, I turned it on to discover that the battery was very flat. I thought, this is clever, for me to prove that they could not have possibily calibrated it means that I must destroy the sticker thereby voiding the calibration. What is going on here.
