My current motherboards are Intel DP965-LT, and D845-WN, and use ATI video and tuner boards. The older computer still has WINME running. I have in storage a Compaq that came with XP Home, no install CD, but had a restore CD. I slipstreamed and generated an install disc, and tried to install it on the Intel motherboard. But the Compaq version looked for a Compaq motherboard, and had to leave it on the Compaq. What I remember of the XP3 issues, I thought one was that once installed, you couldn't go back to SP2 or other OS. On 5/11/2010 4:57 PM, Mike Hord wrote: > SP3 doesn't work on all PCs.
