Disregard the longer strobe bit from my last post, I didn't notice you had 
changed it. However, I don't think you need to make the delay that long, 
something like this should do:

EN=1;
Nop;
EN=0;
Nop;

Obviously you need to define Nop with the above (or use inline assembly)
