Aluminum is generally extruded in common shapes for many dimensions. For the cost of an extrusion die almost any shape is available. It might be that the angle you found was either the end of a special run, or someone needed a size and the extruder had the die, and made a run for sale. I'm more familiar with structural shapes, mostly steel. Some of the steel shapes are also available in aluminum, and fiberglass. Try googling aluminum angle dimensions or similar. For small quantity (less than a mill run quantity), you are at the mercy of suppliers that can ship to you. What they have stock is what is available. If you can live with a sheared sharp cornered leg, and can find angle with longer legs, should be able to get the longer legs sheared to your dimensions. Also note that aluminum comes in many different alloys. Some are weldable, others more corrosion resistant, and others higher strength.
