Using Ohm's law you can compute the resistance that will draw 10mA from a 5V source: Ohm = Volt / Amp 5V / 10mA = 500 Ohms If all you want to do is draw 10mA from your 5V source, then put a 500ohm resistor accross it. However, you seem to have more going on than that, but it's not clear at all what that is.
