Hi there. You have been supplied two links for on-line support for LT Spice. The Yahoo-groups link is VERY active and there are several knowledgeable people who will most likely be able to help you. You just have to ask. Question: have you downloaded the SPICE models from the manufacturer's website? If they aren't available on the website, you will have to write the manufacturer to get the models. Note that you do NOT have to add models to LT Spice. You simply reference the model in the schematic and make sure that LT Spice can find it. The easiest way to do that is include the model in the same directory as your schematic. Many, many examples of how to do this - I see it done regularly in discussions on the Yahoo-groups list. If LT Spice complains about the models you are using, post a question on the Yahoo-groups list and include the model in your post. Someone (most likely Helmut) will either tell you what changes are needed or, more likely, make the changes for you and ensure that the model works in LT Spice before posting a copy of the revised model in the files section of Yahoo Groups. There are a LOT of people who use LT Spice and lots of help is available. dwayne At 01:53 PM 4/19/2010, Electron wrote: >Now it's been some hours I use LTspice, and I appreciate it. > >However, just when I was starting to play "seriously", I found no IGBT model, >neither after installation of the LtSpiceIV_Plus_12_2009.exe >components library. > >I just have no luck.. assuming I can find a model for a certain IGBT, I will >also have to learn how to add it to LTspice.
