Wasn't anything special but I remember it well

Apart from getting something worthwhile at the end of it, it'll also
teach her the value of a pound/dollar

There's a kid in the paper here today who's doing what he can to
earn money for a Rugby World Cup ticket. Having to make an
effort to get something out of your reach is a good Life Lesson,
best learned early IMHO

My sneaking suspicion is that he or the family is making themselves
known to possibly get a deal or a freebie from the organisers, nasty
old cynic that I am
