I see your email name ends with gnu.org. No wonder. I refuse to use GNU/Linux. A typical Linux distribution use lots of free software not covered GPL. Your X, Python, Perl and lot of other software are not licensed under GPL and not uder the FSF. Only very few people use GNU/Linux. Linux is the kernel. It is also the generic name for various Linux distros. To be pedantic, you can use the term Linux Distributions. But you are free to choose to stick to your meaning of free. And you are free to choose not to use PICkit 2 or PIC.
