On the 5th I ordered some parts from Newark. They said they had 185  
items in stock, I ordered 12.  I had the order in in time to ship that day.
I went on the web sit on the 6th to check status, it said order was BACK 
Ordered. 185 in stock ordered 12 on back order.  Something not right here.
I called to see what was up.  After a 10 MIN hold they came back on line 
and said the order would ship that night on the 6th.
About 7:30 PM on the 7th I received an email that the items were shipped 
with a USPS shipping confirmation number.

I just checked again with USPS tracking and they state there is no 
record of the  tracking number.

Is this the normal way NEWARK does business?  I ordered from them 
because of cost and PRORITY mail is usually next day for me from CHICAGO.

Good thing it was not an important or deadline item I needed.

I wonder about how long it might have been if I had not called.
