This could be anything from working with pumps, turbines, valves, piping networks (most of city water mains are a series of interconnected loops), flow in open channels like rivers and canals, dams, etc. Much like embedded systems and microprocessors, this is a specialty branch of civil or mechanical engineering. The lab. tech. might be the one in a laboratory, measuring power input, pump rpm, flow rate, inlet/outlet pressures and temperatures. Sound familiar to recording, volts, amps, etc. :) On 4/6/2010 3:42 PM, cdb wrote: > Job ad in New Zealand. > > Test Engineer/Lab Technician required with solid understanding of > water and fluid dynamics. > > So they want an expert on slow moving glaciers? :) > > Colin > -- > cdb, on 4/7/2010 > > > > -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
