I am planning on using a PIC to send step, direction, and enable signals to
three L297 stepper motor controllers. I need to connect the grounds of the
power supplies together, right? I made a PCB for my microcontroller, but
unfortunately I neglected to put any pins on the board connected to the
ground, so I was wondering if I could just set an I/O pin on the
microcontroller to LOW and connect it to the ground of the L297 ICs in order
to make the common ground?
