So ...

Puts the man on the walk along the crumbling Spanish cliff walkway in
suitable perspective. Not that I don't admire his bravado as well. But this
is different again.



When I lived in Hamilton (where thi was photographed) long ago and owned a
trials bike I thought about doing what this man has just done.
Thought about doesn't mean "ever had the slightest intention of trying to
do". I and my bike could probably have managed it. But maybe not. And it's
the "maybe not" that you don't want to find out about.

He may or may not know that when the bridge opened (1935 comes to mind,
Gargoyle knows) TWO friends did this together, one per side, using the heavy
metal of the day. No helmets I think. Not that a helmet would make much
difference.

Getting to the river would be a little harder than it looks. I could
probably have managed, for good measure.
